Lines are everywhere. Finding lines and using them to your advantage is actually quite easy and can make very visually appealing photos. Lines can lead to the subject or show how cluttered a space is.
Leading lines are basically lines that lead to something. Where these lines lead is where the viewer will focus the most attention to. So make sure that what the lines are leading to is what you want your photo to be most about.
Notice how the gate and the trails lines lead towards the man in the center of the photograph.
